Chesterton in the SEP

In September, October, and November of 1989 subscribers to The Saturday Evening Post found Chesterton's story "The Quick One" serialized in three installments. "The Quick One" was one of the last of the Father Brown mysteries, having originally appeared in The Saturday Evening Post in November of 1933. The more-recent editors of the Post made no accompanying explanation of who Chesterton was or why they had decided to reprint this story in 1989.
